Freedom of the City of London Admission Registers (Held at London Metropolitan Archives)

Thomas PULLEN, son of John PULLEN, Citizen and Joyner of London, came before the Chamberlain the day and Year aforesaid and desired to be admitted into the Freedom of this City by Patrimony in the said Company of [Joiners] because he is legitimate and was born after the admission of his Father into the said Freedom....

The document has not been dated but is probably 1799 because of its position in the file. A note has been added "Copy 1770, Born 1776", which almost certainly refers to the date that John PULLEN was admitted, followed by the approximate birth date of Thomas PULLEN.

Freedom of the City admissions for John  and Samuel also exist. Filed with Samuel PULLEN's application is the following:

These are to certify that John PULLEN son of Joseph PULLEN, late Citizen and Joiner of London deceased, was admitted into the Freedom of this Company by Patrimony on the first day of May one thousand seven hundred and seventy as appears by the said Company's Register of Freedoms
