Broadstairs, St.Peter’s, Red Lion Pub (opposite church). The Red Lion in St Peter's village was trading in the late eighteenth century. In 1810, a committee was formed for the Royal Jubilee celebrations of George III, and a dinner was held at the inn, where 'all hearts and voices united in singing God Save The King'. The DYASON family may well have had a few drinks here, although the layout of the pub has changed over the years.
