July 22 1819
The writer hereof by trade a carpenter and joiner who have been in the employ of Their Majesties at Windsor but for the last twelve months have been working as journeyman in London, finds it so hard to support a little familie here that he wishes to embrace the benefit of the Act of Parliament in going as a settler to His Majesties territories at the Cape of Good Hope. An answer to this would be greatly obliging, addressed to Mr. Ronald CURRIE, No.8 Prospect Terrace, Grays Inn Road.
