My Lord,
The undermentioned persons being desirous of proceeding to the British settlement at Algoa Bay, beg leave to apply to your Lordship for the usual grant of lands and facilities to proceed thither and have further to state that we should collectively have one thousand pounds or upwards to take with us, independent of the sum to be deposited at your office.
