St.Pancras Old Church. The original church is ancient, but the current building was largely rebuilt in the mid 19th century. It is called the Old  Church to distinguish it from the New Church on Euston Road, which was consecrated in 1822. George ANDERSON and Isabella OLIPHANT were married here, as were Henry BELMOUR and Ann TUFFEE, Alexander BISSET and Alicia SMITH, Francis BLACKBEARD and Elizabeth TOYNBEE, John CRONK and Ann BURREY, Thomas Henry HALSE and Susan SMITH, Daniel O'FLINN and Margaret O'CONNOR, James PAWLE and Jemima STEPHENSON, George PHILLIPS and Ann LADSON, George PIGOT and Elizabeth TOMPKINSON, and Thomas Charles WHITE and Ann Grant DAMANT. Henry Ulyate FINAUGHTY was baptised here in 1815 as the son of William and Lucy FINAUGHTY, although he was almost certainly Lucy’s son by the settler Henry ULYATE. Elizabeth, daughter of John BLAKEMORE, was also baptised in St.Pancras, as were John, son of Tobias and Ann THARRATT,  two children of Thomas and Sophia MILLER of MANDY's Party and Charles WATSON of SEPHTON's Party.
