Lancaster, Pendle Witch Pub

            The Pendle Witch Pub in Lancaster dates from 1642. It is named after the famous Pendle Witches who were tried and imprisoned in Lancaster Castle in 1612. Robert FOXCROFT lived in Lancaster and may well have known this pub.
