Keighley, Old White Bear
2nd May 2022
Sue Mackay
The Old White Bear on the Keighley Road. The inn is the oldest building in the village of Cross Hills and was built in 1735. David CAWOOD was baptised in Keighley in 1775. The medieval parish church was blown up in 1805 because it had become too small, and its replacement was itself rebuilt in 1848.
