St.Gabriel Fenchurch, Incumbency Plaque
31st October 2018
Sue Mackay
St.Gabriel Fenchurch was a City church destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666 and not rebuilt. The parish was incorporated into St.Margaret Pattens, but retained a separate identity as can be seen from the Incumbency Board in St.Margaret Pattens church. Two children of William REED by his first wife Sarah are registered as being baptised in St.Gabriel's, but would actually have been baptised in St.Margaret's.
