DIED at Stellenbosch, early in the morning of the 31st ultimo, after a short but severe illness, which he bore with all Christian fortitude, our dearly beloved brother Johan Godfried Gabriel LINDENBERG Esq, aged 45 years, of which notice is hereby given to Relatives and Friends. All those who have known the amiable qualities and character of the deceased will be best able to appreciate how grievous and severe a loss we have suffered by this calamity, and we cannot refrain from expressing our most sincere and thankful acknowledgements to all those much-esteemed and numerous friends who evinced so much interest in, and attended so kindly on the deceased during his illness.
