EDUCATION
Doctor DROSSEL of Frankfort, Graduate of the University of Heidelberg, has lately arrived in this Colony per Lady Flora, with a view to establish a Seminary for the Education of Young Gentlemen. Dr. DROSSEL proposes to receive a limited number of pupils, to whose education he will exclusively devote his time. An experience of 22 years, during which period he has been solely engaged in the Education of Youth, enables Dr.D to assert with confidence that his system of tuition is based on the soundest and most appreciated principles of Education. Further particulars will be given on application to Dr. DROSSEL at his present residence, No.88 Bree-street. Messrs G.W. PRINCE, E. LANDSBERG and F.H. KUNHARDT of Cape Town and Mr. J. REITZ of Swellendam are named as references.

DIED at Swellendam on the 31st Jan at the age of 10 months and 18 days, and after a very short illness, John Joseph, the elder of the Twin Sons of the Rev Dr. ROBERTSON.
